Beneficiaries screened for cataract surgeries are given a date.

Transport (both pick up and drop) is arranged on the date (usually pick up point is the camp site).

Free cataract surgery using the latest technology – Phaco-emulsification (stitch less cataract surgery) is done and the relevant Intraocular Lens (IOL) is placed in the eye.

Free post-operative medications are given and they are advised for follow up, which is usually the next day.

The beneficiaries are required to stay at our Centre for 1-2 hours post surgery for resting during which some light snacks are also served.
