Curable or avoidable blindness is something that can be either treated or prevented with timely, cost – effective intervention and aid the individual to lead a normal and respectful life.

How do beneficiaries come for surgeries to base hospital?2018-06-30T00:09:53+05:30

Free transport facility will be provided by Sight For All Foundation. The arrangements for the same will be informed on the day of the eye screening camp.

How often do you conduct eye-screening camps?2018-06-30T00:12:39+05:30

We conduct 4-5 camps in a month.

Why emphasis on Cataract?2018-06-30T00:12:39+05:30

Cataract contributes to 62.6% of blindness and India houses the second highest number of blind people in the world. (Source- vision2020india.org).

Old age is one of the most common causes of cataract. As cataract progresses so does the dependency on others for normal day-to-day routine. It is our endeavour to reduce this dependency of the elderly age group and restore their confi-dence and bring joy to their life.

India has the largest population of blind people in the world, that’s over 8 million people. Most of them live in the poorest parts of the country with little or no access to even basic health care facilities.

80% blindness can be prevented with timely intervention.

Sight For All Foundation provides its beneficiaries with a discharge card that details the post-operative instructions as well as the medicine schedule.
