Dr. Sanjiv Gupta
Founder & CEO
Did his post- graduation in 1993 from M and J Institute of Ophthalmology, Civil Hospital Ahmedabad, a premier regional Institute for the Western zone of India. His field of specialization is Phaco-emulsification (stitchless cataract surgery) and Refractive surgery. He has been performing phaco-emulsification surgeries for more than two decades now. He did his training in Refractive surgery from Shankar Netralya, Chennai, and Maxivision Laser Centre Hyderabad. He was an Associate Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, and was also associated with Max Healthcare as a Senior Consultant in Ophthalmology before he opened iCareCentre in October 2007. He is actively involved in eye camps, school eye screening camps, and public interactive sessions in elderly forums, multinational companies. He is the director of i Care Centre and an additional director at Jaypee Hospital, Noida. He is an active wildlife enthusiast and sportsman (captain of the college cricket team).
Dr. Monica Mahajan
Co-founder & Director
Graduated from Government Medical College, Patiala (Punjab) in 1992 and did her post graduation from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She was associated with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital till 2001 and then joined Max Healthcare, Delhi. She is an associate director of Internal Medicine, Max Hospital, Saket, and medical advisor at Max Multi Specialty Centre, Panchsheel Park. Her areas of interest include infectious diseases, adult immunization, preventive medicine, and lifestyle related disorders. She manages patients in OPD, Inpatient and ICU setup. She has been actively involved in academics and has numerous publications in international books, journals, periodicals and leading newspapers.
She is an expert for major news channels, including Doctors@NDTV.com. She is incharge of the teaching programme for the Medicine department at Max, Saket. Dr Monica is empaneled with International S.O.S, Asia Rescue and Medical Services(ARMS) Kolkata, French Embassy, United Nations, and European Commission. She believes that medicine is both a science and an art, and each patient needs to be treated with care and empathy.
Mr. Sidhaant Gupta
Co-founder & Chief Strategist
Sidhaant has a Master’s degree in Mechatronics and Robotics from New York University. He has been passionate about contributing to the community from an early age and, infact, was involved in social causes and volunteered for various community outreach programmes in college. He believes in the philosophy of ‘you get what you give. ’
He is involved in the development of SFAF’s communications and marketing strategies and provides strategic guidance to raise the visibility and influence of SFAF’s work in the community. Siddhant is also charged with leading a robust effort to grow and diversify fundraising streams and build strategic partnerships to help fight avoidable vision loss in the underserved and underprivileged community.
Sidhaant is regarded as a leader with a clear vision for tomorrow. He is a thought partner who pushes innovative thinking and brings an outlook of positivity and optimism. He strives to bring an external perspective and insight to support longer-term strategic planning.
